Our counseling office provides personalized, supportive services designed to meet the diverse needs of students and their families. We offer:

  • Individual Counseling: One-on-one support for personal, academic, and mental health needs, including developing student success plans and helping students stay on track.
  • Classroom Lessons: Engaging educational sessions on key topics such as mental health, career exploration, scheduling, and academic planning.
  • Small Groups: Collaborative sessions that address common challenges and foster peer connections.
  • Career Exploration: Guidance to help students explore future career paths and make informed decisions.
  • Academic Support: Assistance with overcoming school-related challenges, including organization, planning, and study skills.
  • Behavior Intervention: Strategies to improve behavior and support positive changes.
  • Social-Emotional Learning: Programs that enhance emotional intelligence, self-awareness, and interpersonal skills.
  • Family Support: Resources and assistance to help families support their students’ growth and well-being.

Student Support Referral

At Northside High School, we encourage open communication and collaboration to ensure the well-being of our students. If you have any concerns—whether academic, social, or emotional—referrals can be made at any time by students, parents, or school personnel. Urgent matters will be addressed as a priority to provide timely support.

Parent Referral

For parents who believe their child could benefit from counseling services.
